Zindagi na milegi dobara.... :)

After a loong time i went to a  movie with my mother.. :) and she loved it.. even i loved it.. :)

This movie gave a whole new perspective to life. and to the fact whether whatever you have planned is worth the time. and the concept is amazing.

I know such movies doesnt seem practical.. but then one has to dream before achieving it.. this movie makes you dream how the life should be lived..

i am in awe with the movie and telling everybody to go and watch it. i know its not as great as dil chahta hai but its not bad either.. :)

in the middle of such horrible movies this is a good find.. i will give it 4 out of 5.. :)

Kite Runner

As i stated earlier that after Thousand Splendid Sun this is going to be my next book, it wasn't my next book but i have read it and believe me its amazing.

Well, Thousand Splendid Sun and Kite Runner are depicted on almost the same concept. But the former shows the female perspective and latter shows the male perspective.

This book is about two boys and their friendship and trust me no story has touched my heart as this one, i almost felt like crying while reading the book.

I think this is one book whether fiction or non fiction should be read by everybody only for the sake of humanity.Its an amazing book with a very good content.

Micheal Crichton

I have started reading his books and believe me they are good.  I started with the book Prey and now i am hooked onto his books. The content is amazing. I am sad that he died. But i will make sure that i read all of his books.

What i liked about his books was how he created suspense and he was able to think even the impossible. In fiction, very few people are able to pull this off. He is one of them almost like Dan Brown.

I have read his two books till now, The Prey and and The Jurrasic Park and both were amazing even better than the Jurrasic Park movie. The next one is Pirate Latitude.

People who like suspense and thriller should surely go for his books and you wont regret your decision.

Thousand splendid sun by Khaled Hosseini

This book was recommended to me by many people. I have still not read The Kite Runner and i will make sure that it will be my next book.

About this book, it is amazing as everybody said. As I started reading this book i found it little depressing. I read the whole book because i wanted it to have a happy ending. This book is about Afganistan, women and Taliban. I hope you get the point that why did i find it depressing. With all the mishaps with the women it was terrible to know that what they had to suffer.

At first i thought i wont recommend this book to anyone, but then i realized and being a feminist i want everybody to get aware about the conditions in Afganistan and what it had to go through during the Taliban time.

But in the end I was refreshed by the tiniest hope the character in the book had. I will give this book 4 out of 5 go ahead and read it. :)

Tanu weds Manu

I expected too much from this but alas it was not able to reach upto my expectations. I was badly disappointed.

Kangana Ranaut with her coarce voice tries to impress that she has studied from DU and has a rebel like attitutude but she portrays herself as a dumb girl not knowing what she wants in life, whether happiness or just wants to go against her parents. Basically acting cool.

And Madhavan falls in love with her when she was sleeping only by the looks of her ( may be.. :P). and Kanagana uses him for her own amusement. And Madhavan acting sweet is ready to sacrifice everything for her. (wierd! :-o). Kanagana is in love with someone else and want to marry him or she thinks that she want to.

We all knew that they had to meet in the end as the movie's name suggests but then the whole process was torturing and i wont recommend anybody to watch this movie because it dod not have any sense. I will give it only 1.5 out of 5. So if you want to go and watch it.  Watch at your own risk. :P

The Devil's Advocate

I like Keanu Reeves, so please don't kill me. ;) And This movie is one of the best movies done by him, they may be few but there are such movies.

This movie as the name suggests is about devils and demons but this is not a horror movie. I was disappointed since i thought it was going to be one. But it is a thriller movie which keeps you engrossed all the time and make you think about the end. And you are shocked as the movie reaches the climax.

I liked the story as well as how the movie has been directed. I would give this movie three and a half out of five. And suggest you all to go forward and watch this movie because this is not a scary movie just a regular thriller movie. ;)

Saat Khoon Maaf

This movie deals with too much of extreme opinions. Some say they liked it too much and some say that they didn't.

Saat khoon maaf is based on Susannah's seven husband by Ruskin Bond. The story is too good. Making you feel "how can this be possible?" , but stories are stories after all and you may never know what is possible in this world.
So, go ahead and watch this film. I enjoyed it a lot.

If you are a weak hearted person who cannot see too much of cruelty then this is not your kind of movie and i would suggest you not to watch it. You may say who makes such gruesome movies but then there is audience like us who like to watch such movies. I remember 'Zinda' had same criticism and it was not a hit movie but it was liked by all. The same goes for this movie.
